Local Kids Author: Rebecca Shinsky

Rebecca Shinsky grew up in the Pittsburgh area and has a lifelong love of writing.She has a degree in Communication & Journalism from Shippensburg University, and she has spent 20+ years in sales and leadership. She wrote “Bucktooth Becky” in 2008, however, managing the chaos of motherhood and a career delayed her pursuing publication. With some prompting by her husband, Phil, and the collaboration of illustrator Susan Vincent, her dream of having her first book published came to fruition! Rebecca, Phil, and their four children live in the quaint little town of Zelienople.
