We serve the communities of Zelienople Borough, Harmony Borough, Lancaster Township and Jackson Township.
Established in 1920. Our current building was dedicated in 1975.
We belong to the Library System of Butler County.
We participate in the ACCESS PA statewide library system.
Our collection includes over 40,000 items including books, videos, audios, compact discs, magazines and puppets and CD-ROMs.
We offer patrons computers for surfing the internet, word processing and print shop projects. Call to schedule a time and learn our policies.
The Zelienople Area Public Library is part of the the PA Forward Initiative and recently earned its Gold Start Status. PA Forward is an initiative from the Pennsylvania Library Association with the goal of helping all Pennsylvania citizens reach their full potential. The program highlights five core literacies and encourages public libraries to conduct programming focusing on basic literacy, information literacy, civic and social literacy, health literacy and financial literacy.

Trustees meet the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Library.
