Zelienople Library Flyer for “Germans to America” event on September 26, featuring a talk by Pam Israel, tours, and local history highlights, hosted by the Zeilenople Historical Society.

Do you have a family document or heirloom you would like to learn how to preserve for future generations?  September 26 the Library and the Zelienople Historical Society are partnering to bring an excellent program to our town. The event will feature Pam Israel of “Unlock Your History”.  After a presentation by Pam, attendees will be invited to share their family documents and objects and learn how to interpret them and preserve them.  The presentation, with “show and tell,” starts at 10:30 am at the Library followed by lunch on the grounds of the Historical Society.  The day concludes with tours of the Passavant House and Buhl House to end at approximately 2:30 pm.  You may attend the entire day or just a portion of the event.  We are asking for a donation of $5 to cover the cost of the speaker or $10 if you plan to attend the program and the lunch.  You can make your reservation by calling the Library at 724/452-9330 0r emailing zaplib@bcfls.org.  Please register by September 19.
