This month’s student art installation is from the Seneca Valley Visual Art Applications class and is inspired by human anatomy. The class is a STEM credit class, meaning projects have a foundation based on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In this particular assignment, students work was to contain imagery from medical text and incorporate a personal story or experience woven into its meaning. The artists included are Kassidy O’Connor, Maura Taylor, Dylan Kirchner, Leighann Chalmers, Jessica Brezina, Emily Ginsburgh, Delaney Molinero and Zoe Barnhill. Their work is on display in the library’s Teen Tomorrow Room and can be viewed during regular library hours. The piece pictured was created by Kassidy O’Connor.
