Tickets for the 2019 Summer Wine Walk! in Harmony are sold out. If you have tickets, here is some information and some tips to help make your Wine Walk! as enjoyable as possible.
Please note the Summer Wine Walk! will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given if it rains.
What’s included: Wine glass, wristband, and map to all the tasting sites.
When and Where to Check-in: Check-in for the event will open at 4:00 pm (event begins at 5 pm) so you can come early to avoid long lines and grab some lunch or visit our unique shops (Harmony is a very cool little town) before heading out. Check-in location will be at Stewart Hall at the Harmony Museum. Please do not forget your ID, as we will check ID for ALL attendees. At check-in you will receive a wristband, wine glass and a map to all of the tasting sites. You won’t be able to sample without your wrist band. We’re making multiple versions of the maps to follow to help keep the lines moving along. Please try to follow the flow of your map.
Food: Please drink responsibly and taste on a full stomach! There will be several established options for you to eat: Harmony Inn, Lagerhaus (roast beef slider and mac & cheese bites,
Two Fraus Bakery (pretzel bites and short bread), Fat Guy BBQ food tent in the museum parking lot and Shubrew (lobster rolls and hamburgers)
Bathrooms: Most of our tasting sites are fairly small businesses with limited bathroom facilities so their bathrooms will not be available to Wine Walk! attendees. Port-o-lets for Wine Walk! attendees will be located in the museum parking lot.
Parking: Please consider having a designated driver. Please note that no ticket is needed for designated drivers accompanying you who will not be tasting. There are several options for parking and all are within walking distance. The lots at US Liner and Robinson Industries, Harmony Canoe Launch, Harmony Borough Building and Grace Church have offered their lots. We’ll have parking signs up to assist you locating them. Please do not park in the Harmony Inn’s lot as they will be open for business and want to keep their lot open for their patrons. We also ask if you do decide to park on a side street to be respectful of residents’ yards.
If it’s a Wine Walk! why can’t I walk with wine? ABC regulations prohibit walking between tasting sites with any wine in your glass. Thank you for either pouring out or consuming wine at each tasting site before strolling on to the next site!
Will you hold my purchases till I’m done with the tour? Yes, buy wine from vendors, and have it delivered to registration, where you can pick it up at the end of the evening. Wine check closes at 9:45 pm
