We asked ShuBrew to create a special beer for our 100th Anniversary. It’s called Reader’s Relief, and it will be on tap at ShuBrew starting Thursday, Sept 24th.
ShuBrew will be donating $1 per pint sold, to the Library.
ShuBrew brewed a fruited Berliner Weiss in honor of the occasion. Zachary Shumaker, Brewer, chose a German beer because of the German ancestry in the area, and it uses all German grains and hops, plus strawberries and raspberries. It will be 5-6% alcohol by volume, and will be mildly tart. It is likely to appeal to both the regular and rare beer drinker. Interestingly, it will be light pink in color.
