genealogy research

The Zelienople Area Public Library has a multitude of genealogy resources at your service. So much so that it needs its own webpage to list them all. That page can be found here: https://zelienoplelibrary.org/genealogy/

To paint a quick picture of offerings however, it’s good to know that ZAPL provides access to: Ancestry.com Library Edition, has a Genealogy club that meets monthly, and that we work with many local partners like the Zelienople Historical Society and Historic Harmony, Inc. We partner with them to bring the community a vast resource bank for those exploring history and family histories.

online library catalogs

Search, browse, borrow, renew, hold, and more with the online library catalog. A version for kids is also available from the catalog homepage itself: http://bcfls.tlcdelivers.com/.

free or open-access eResources

One great aspect of the internet, and one that is thankfully growing, is the ideal of providing free information and resources for the good of society. We’ve curated these sources among the many for ZAPL patrons.

Note: some resources require your library card.
